Burger Nerds Notifications

Program Overview

Burger Nerds (a DBA of Founders LLC) operates an SMS program called Burger Nerds Notifications that sends transactional and promotional text messages to customers who have explicitly opted in at checkout on getburgernerds.com.

How You Opt In

Opt-in happens via two separate, optional consent checkboxes on the checkout page, immediately below the phone-number field. Both are unchecked by default. Neither is a condition of purchase — per TCPA 47 CFR §64.1200(a)(7)(i), orders proceed regardless of whether either box is checked. You can opt into order updates only, promotions only, both, or neither. The checkboxes render exactly like this:

Each checkbox is audited independently — when checked, we log the scope (transactional or marketing), timestamp, phone number, IP address, and user agent at the moment of consent. If a box is left unchecked, no SMS of that type is ever sent to that customer. Granting one type does not grant the other.

Message Types

• Order confirmations and status updates
• Pickup-ready alerts (“Your order is ready”)
• Occasional promotions and loyalty reward notifications (about 1–2 per week)

Opting Out & Help

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You'll be unsubscribed immediately and receive a confirmation message. To re-subscribe, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or email us at support@getburgernerds.com.

Account holders can also disable SMS in their account settings at /account.
